synchronizer adaptor
I have just purchased a carburetor synchronizer from jc whitney, which comes with 2 "universal" adapters which dont seem to apply to my zenith inat carburetors. the synchronizer is a dial type made in germany and is called a "schleyler" synchronizer by jc whitney on there packing list. the documentation for this item indicates that a special type 01 adaptor is available for the zeniths on my 1971 250c but jc whitney does not have it nor can tell me how to contact the manufacturer. I sure would like to get the right adaptor fom schleyer if possible and will appreciate any help i can get to locate this outfit!

An upside-down Cool Whip container fits perfect over those carbs..just cut a hole in the bottom for the tool.... I used one for years.

your other option is the plastic "tub" that comes with a stack of CDR or DVD-R (just a sign of the times).

I just turned out one from a solid block of wood on a lathe years ago. Works very well in fact even the original seal for the air cleaner seals good with it.
