varying bumper heights? (euro)
 

I'm flipping thru my vast collection of W116 images, looking at 300SD's with euro bumpers, 450 SEL 6.9's with euros and 280 SE's with euros, and throughout the images, I notice that the front bumpers are at different heights from car to car, some are lower, exposing more of the wiper arm and facia panels and others are up more, hugging the bottom of the headlight lens (looks better that way.)

Is that just the reigonal differences in bumper height regulations?
