Some more progress on Weber 38 DGES

So..., with the spark plugs out, and the Distributor Rotor removed (Fire hazard eliminated?) I cranked the engine over. Only to see gasoline bubbling up the carb's center.

I have a fuel pressure regulator arriving soon; I believe the Weber 38 prefers 3 psi.
If that isn't the cure, then I probably have a stuck float, or a (remotely possible) fuel return line stoppage.
