Extra fan worth installing?

I'm thinking about adding a temperature triggered electric fan for my wife's '67 250S. It has A/C, which I haven't fixed yet and she has a stretch of her commute that is stop and go. I'm wondering if anyone has ever done this, is there a kit for it and do you all think it's worth it.

Well yeah, I wasn't planning to remove it. I'm just wondering if an extra fan is worth it. Especially considering the car will be using A/C in slow traffic. I've seen MANY cars that over heat in slow traffic. I had the same problem with my Dodge Dart.

Well, yeah ...
Ya said the car has no a/c and she is in traffic a lot...so...
I would simply put a cabin ON/OFF sw somewhere convienent and run the wires to the top of the a/c drier switch....when she wants fan, she throws the switch..or you can just get a radiator sensor switch to do it auto...
Those fans push a lot of air and we used to always put a cabim sw on those chassis....just cuz it was simple and nice to have on a hot day , or towing , or traffic ,or whatever...cost $2-3 to do
