W108 blower motor from ebay?
Can anyone tell me if this looks right for the 1967 w108 blower motor?

Yes, the blower motor will work in your car. Be aware, however, that the removal and replacement of the blower motor is an incredibly time-consuming and frustrating repair job if you tackle it yourself. It's an incredibly expensive repair if you have to pay someone else to do it. It would be well worth your time to fully investigate your current situation to see if you can solve the problem to make your existing motor operational.
Start by removing the wipers, then the shiny aluminum cowl vent grille, and finally the sheetmetal piece covering the cowl air intake. If there are holes in the filters that cover the air intakes, then dirt, leaves, etc. have had direct access to the fan motor. The motor itself is directly below the area between the air intake cutouts (slighty off center on the drivers side). To view the motor, you have to look at an angle thru either intake cutout. I cut an access hole in the sheet metal directly above the blower motor when I repaired mine, and made a removeable cover plate to repair the area. Clean out whatever debris that you find, and try to oil the upper and lower bearings of the motor to restore operation. While you're there make sure the drain tube that exits out of the center of the plenum thru the firewall is clear, and take care of any rust inside the plenum. You can get new filters for the cowl, they are still available. Good luck, let us know what you find! Tom Drew

There used to be a guy selling NOS ones on ebay for under $100. That's what I bought for fear of installing a used one and having it fail shortly after doing that huge job.
New from the dealer they are insanely expensive. The old ones can be rebuilt I think but finding a NOS one is the way to go. As for your original question, I believe you could use that blower in yours...the heater boxes came in a couple of different variations with minor differences but as far as I know all of the blowers were the same.

The symptoms of my blower are that is weak, sounds like a bearing is going (wobbley) and the speed varies (without changing the speed).

About 5 or 6 years ago, someone posted a question about the 108 blower motor.
One of the responses stated that the blower mower was suspended in mid air by a thin wire, and the car was built around it.
