W116 Euro Headlight

I'm looking for the small plastic covers that fit over the tip of the clips that secure the lenses to the headlight assembly.

Anyone know the part number of these little dudes?

The 116 lights must be very different from the 123s, 107s, and 126s. I have never seen these plastic things that go over the clips. Is there such a thing?

They certainly exist on my lights. I tried to take a photo but can't get my macro focus to work.

The plastic bits seem to be protectors of sorts. Keeping the metal ends of the clips from cracking the glass maybe. Some of the clips on my lights still have the plastic on the tip while others are partially broken. The rest are missing altogether.

I've seen the same things on 2 different sets of 116 Euro's so I assumed they are typical.

Headlight clips

By Happy coincidence I am working on a pair getting them ready to ship out(and was having a hard time with them) so I was able to get a pic for you. Most of them are missing or broke when I took off the lens. I do have a parts catalog "G" that only has the USA lamp parts. You could call Phil, he has a amazing amount of info, or make your own. I think the point is to isolate the glass from the metal. Hopes this helps The clip is next to the black adjustment switch (What does this switch do?)
Regards

I think the switch is the adjust the light beam higher or lower pre vacume control from the dash of that function. The world "nebel" next to the switch means fog though I don't know if that is relevant to adjustment switch.
