Zerk fittings for Rear Axle bearings?
How feasible would it be to Drill and Tap, and install Zerk fittings in the rear bearing carrier?
Obviously, one would install on the bottom, to help eliminate contamination from the Drill and Tap. This seems possible. Realistically, probably none of us are removing the rear axles to lubricate the bearings. So, let's start a discussion.

The bearings need no periodic lubrication. Lube greases are fussy about being mixed, so unless you know what grease is in there now you could make a costly mistake by pumping in a different grease.
