reset vaccum system without starting car? 78 450sl
i noticed that if my car sits for a couple days in the cold, the vacuum element for the trunk locking mechanism "deflates". only when I start up the engine does the vacuum element "reset". at least this is my observation.
is it possible to "reset" the vacuum system without starting the car? |

no is the answer to the question, unless you provide an outside source of vacuum. Finding the leak is the answer
