My fiance crashed my 72 280sel 4.5 the other day and I`ve
only had it 2 months. I cant believe this is happening to me, I loved that car. Does anyone know where a passenger
fender, headlight assembly, fender trim , radiator, and
fan clutch. Or is anyone interested in purchasing this car.
Its in great shape w/ no rust and it is not missing any thing.
Thanks, Aaron

I'm sure you know about this...

Maybe you can find body panels, etc from a rear ended car..

Hope you find a solution or something!

Cheers,

crash parts

Just the fender? The radiator support comes in two parts, the upper sheet metal that the fender bolts to and the lower support (which itself is two pieces).

I picked up the lower part from a salvage yard in Oregon for about 40$. The whole fender can be as much as 400$, unless you find a decent one at a pick & pull.

Take care of the car, and remember that the fiance is more important.

Way back when, I gave my 280se 4.5 to my fiance, just after I replaced the driver's side head. She made an oops in a bank parking lot and drove over a cement divider. The resulting hard fall smashed the cast iron exhaust manifolds. She was VERY upset and begged forgiveness for killing my baby. Thankfully I had a spare set of manifolds and it was a piece of cake to replace them. Until I over torqued one of the nuts and sheared the stud at the point closest to the frame rail. There was no way to get a stud puller in there, so I no choice but to pull the other cylinder head. The whole "oops" set me back 500$ and I married her anyway.
