Are 240D Bumpers Interchangeable?

I need to replace the rear bumper of my MB 240D.

Are the front and rear bumpers of the 123 chassis interchangeable?

If they are not, how do I tell them apart? I do have an extra bumper and have tried to compare them, but I just don't know what I should be looking for.

Any help for this technoignoramus would be appreciated.

The front is more angled (pointed at the middle), the rear is almost straight. They're not interchangeable front to back or vice versa.

Thanks for that info

Mbeige, thanks for replying. This is my lucky day. The bumper that I've been storing for so long that I don't even remember exactly where it came from is a rear -almost straight.

I've been having a tough time locating a used one here in the Bay Area, so this is really good news.
