The 540K is really a beautiful car. I guess it should be for a milion bucks!

Yep, it's gotta be on everybody's bucket-list to drive something like this cross country few months at least specially riding it hard like it aint been driven since before WWII. Secretly haint we all wanted to steal "concourse" car and take it through the paces driving like bat outa hell?
But maybe holdout for deluxe SSK version as better getaway car with 300HP capable of 100+MPH instead of the 120/180HP rated. Expect special effects and wild features like manual dashboard controled ignition timing, Bentley styled supercharger on demand, double clutching non-syncrhro tranny - probly take 3 weeks of constant road travel at least just to learn how to drive it. Nevermind sheer pleasure of mastering the experience, thats gotta be priceless. Yessir I'd like to steal one of these off the concourse circuit and actually put it on the road - knowing i was doing no disservice to the marque. Last edited by 300SDog; 01-16-2008 at 10:54 PM. |

Actually, one million dollars is stealing it. The last one sold in 2003 for 3.8 million. I made some parts for another one being restored.
