I have a 1972 in the same color and drivetrain layout. This is of course a grey market car. Check very carefully for rust or rust repair. I found the pattern of the rust on mine to be different than if the car had lived it's life in north america. The 114 does love to rust unfortunatly. So much so it is very important to check all the structure for integrity very carefully. Take a magnet to eliminate a total bondo bucket as well.
I also find the transmission throws long and have been considering shortning up the shift lever a little to modify. Fun little car to drive though. |
