1976 280s Exhaust Manifold

Hi there. I'm looking for an exhaust manifold for a 1976 Mercedes 280s (straight six, dual overhead cams). I'm not sure what other years are compatible. My exhaust is a two piece set up, connected together in the middle. The piece closest to the front of the vehicle , has a 6-8 inch diameter opening, that branches off of the manifold, and connects to the catalytic converter. The cat runs the length of the manifold, and connects to the tail pipe. If you have this manifold, or know of another manifold that might work, please drop me a line. I'd be willing to pay a reasonable amount for this part + shipping. Thanks.

If you no longer need to meet emission standards for a car of that age, why not put manifolds off of a 73 or 74 280 or 280S on it and get rid of the converter? The 75 and 76 model year location of the converter at the manifold created a great deal of heat under the hood. You can get used manifolds cheap, but you will have to buy a new front pipe to mate with them.
