1978 280CE k-jectronic has a fuel damper (item 74) between tank and fuel pump.
has input for fuel and output for fuel to fuel pump and has a third smaller connection that goes to fuel accumulator (item 56 via hose 104).
I took off the hose from the fuel accumulator and fuel was pouring out from this third connection (on item 74) is it suppose too?
What does this part do heres closeup of part?
Mercedes calls line 104 a leak line so when accumulaor goes bad it does not leak gas everywhere I just wonder what keeps the gas from flowing up to the accumulator ?
