I saw this (a 1958 190) while browsing in craigslist Miami listings: http://miami.craigslist.org/car/652421089.html

"4 cylinder engine
cylindercapacity: 1897 cc.
capacity: 105 bhp. at 5700 rpm.
top-speed: 107 mph. - 170 km/h.
This car has not been running for about two years, until I bought it. It is a four speed manual transmission and requires a bit of elbow grease. I has a ton of potential to be a nice collectors car. Floor boards are good and a little bit of rust on the hood but overall a great car for those mercedes benz collectors"

I likely won't dive into this project, but who knows... someone out there may want this classic.

500$ sounds good if it is not a rust bucket, drives, stops, and turns.

It's a scam ad trying to get you to ebay so the poster gets referral money.

Where's the swindle? Looks like an amazing bargain. He's crazy about 107mph though, closer to 85-90 top speed.

190b gasoline ponton once held Guiness record for high mileage, was somewhere around 900k miles on the same engine. Cairo taxi cab if memory serves me well.

Click on the link in the ad. It takes you to a portal that in turn takes you to ebay. The car doesn't exist.

Another CL scam, people who own an old-timer know what they are worth. In Germany that car would sell for an easy 5000 euro's.
