114 & 115
Can the front fenders, hood etc.. from a 115 model (73 220)
replace or be used on/in a 114 model (73 280)?

Basic answer is.... yes.
The W114/W115 are year by year for all practical purposes interchangable. There are two distinct and non-interchangable series. The 68-73 front clips are different from the 74-76 front clips. There are additional subtle differences, such as the grille mesh in the early cars (AL vs plastic), and the 73 bumper brackets vice all others, but as long as the cars fall into the same series, it will all interchange. Trim items, like foglights, headlights, side trim , will interchange thru the entire run. Jim
