Run it though cheesecloth and put it in 1 gallon jugs and sell it to diesel owners as Cetane booster.

know that my mowers would not run on old gas anymore than the BMW would.

I've got 8 bent pushrods from my Lincoln convertible to prove it.

I also have first person experience with valve guides getting dislodged when the stem locked up inside.

This happens on the exhaust valve, not intake.

After two big hits, I will never try to start a car that's been sitting with old gas in it again.....

Well, thats pretty bad.

My car has the gas in the tank but the carbs and so forth are dry sitting on the roof.

I took the cap off yesterday and it smelled not too bad.

I won't try to use it though.
