Someone has a trick 280SE 6.6!
Okay, so I go out joy riding today in my 85 300D, when I drive into the town of Tenafly. I stumble across an independent Mercedes garage with a few neat cars sitting outside. One of the cars, a 78 or 79 450 SEL 6.9 in beautiful Anthricite! But inside the garge lay a 69-71ish 280 SE 6.6! Yes, a 6.6... Badge and all. It was from California, I guess a bored and stroked M100 block. Is this common? Anyway, in typical California fashion, it had chromed bunt cakes, cromed pipes and tinted windows. Nice ride...
