'79 300D A/C help please

Ok, here is my situation. I took the ACCII servo out of the car. I now have a bunch of vacuum lines and two unplugged connectors up front. The A/C does come on and I can use it constantly in DEF position. It also works in Bi level. In any other position it will function for a minute or two and shut off. The aux radiator fan never comes on so I can't really run the system in traffic long. The air is cool so it works. I would just like to default the system to Auto Hi where it blows all or most in the face vents and get my radiator fan to work. Appreciate any help. Thanks. Paul
