8 months since the last time I drove it...

My parents came up in September 2007 to help me start stripping the paint. That was the last time I drove my 250C until today. I took the wife to dinner and proceeded to blow the transmission cooler hose on the way home. That was a quick fix and I take her in tomorrow for an alignment. The wet spot was the cleanup from the transmission hose.

What a project - new rockers, new trunk floor, a new front fender, patched the floors, refinished the dash, new AC system, new exhaust, rebuilt the manifolds, replaced the carbs, new ignition system, new stereo system, new carpet, new headliner, new front glass, new tires, new sound/heat insulation, and new steering components.

Most of the restoration was time documented and uploaded to YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=thorin2004&search_sort=video_date_uploaded

Now this is cool.

If I had done the time lapse, I think there would have been more beverages consumed.....

My favorite coupe for its simple unpretentious design, the 114. Honestly i caint think of a better classic daily driver. And with airflow characteristics 4 windows rolled down arguably better than convertible says me.
