1971 280 SE Fuel Injection LEAK!

Hi,
Looking for some info on which pipe in my electronic fuel injection might be leaking. Started the car up yesterday and petrol went everywhere! Its definately coming from the unit, or hopefully one of the pipes because I do not want to replace the unit.
Any info please!

Cheers

Question Is it D-Jet ?

If so where is the petrol coming from ? under the bonnet somewhere or beneath the car ? The fuel pump in this system sits near the tank and pumps via a long line under the body to the fuel pressure regulator and into the fuel rail and injectors. Then there is a return line that goes all the way back to the tank again.

If the petol is under the car particularly from the engine bay back it's likely t be a line to or from the tank, if its under the engine bay it could be one of the feeds, the rail or an injector hose to name a few....but to be honest as soon as you put on the ignition (not start) the pump will run and it should be fairly obvious where its comming from consideing the pressure the system works at.

Hope that helps

J
