Looking for a Cylinder Head

I discovered quite a bit of corrosion on the head. The cost of welding and the potential of hidden corrosion is forcing me to look to another head.
I am looking for a replacement head for a 71 280 sel, chassis no. 10801912075369
engine no. 13098012056783.
cylinder head no. is 1300160801 280SE/A
This is of course an fuel injection engine.
I have checked most of the part suppliers, ebay and online savage yards.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Have you checked http://www.ebay.co.uk? From time to time when I am having difficulty finding something I check overseas. Granted the shipping will more expensive and longer, but you may have luck find it.

Hello,

You need to familiarize yourself with some of the cylinder head variations on this model or you may get a head which will not work.

Check the chart on this thread;
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/attachments/vintage-mercedes-forum/56856d1215654383-130-engine-head-swap-chart.jpg

You will find your head number and some other numbers which can work and the ones which will not.
