Arrow W108 - 1967 250S Ignition Switch Change

I have new ignition switch I need to install in my 250S. Does anyone know an easy way to do this? Remove the instrument cluster? Any suggestions? Thank you.

I just removed one from a W108. Needed to remove cluster to access two bolts that secure steering column.
Then you need to remove a coller(loosen) around the ignition lock cylinder and depress a "pin" to remove the lock cylinder. This is necessary to access two screws that secure the switch to the lock cylinder.

Any questions send to cdplayer51@pacbell.net

Thanks, Dan

Ok, so to get the cluster out... I have to go under the dash, and remove the carboard piece. Unplug the wire cable, and the other cables? Is what the book says....... and somehow.....reach way up there and get that little plastic nut on the gauge? Is this correct? After that, the guages will come out?? Easily? without tearing up the dash? Thanks. Dave
