When I looked, MB was not making floors for the W116 so the body guys that worked on my 6.9 fabricated them. That was 3 years ago so you may want to check with them to see if they put them back into production.

I don't have a problem fabbing my own floors, just was hoping there would be a quicker easier way.

Hah! No such thing as a "quicker, easier way"! You know that! Shucks, if it were easy, they wouldn't call it work!

Oddly enough, JC Whitney might have them. I got two sets of rocker panels for a 114 once but had to call them. Only cost $40 something each so I got two of each for both left and right.

Ken, as your car is a Euro, you may want to check with the classic center to see if he can get you the floor. The floors are different on the Euro's because they don't have the hump for the catalytic converters.
There is no left or right floors, just front and back.

116 floor pans

I once repaired the floor pan on a 115 that was rusted out totally on the rights side in the back.

I first took the interior out of my car and caculated just how much floor I needed. Just a pan was not going to do it as this problem was severe.

I then went wrecking yard shopping. A Pick-N-Pull was not going to work as I needed to use a cutting torch or Saws-all and they are not allowed there. I did find one in a wrecking yard that was not rusted and told them I needed a big piece of the floor cut out. I got a piece that was much larger than what I needed so I would have something to work with. The cost, twenty years ago, was $40.

When I got back to the house I cut out all the rusted floor and then some. I applied a bead of 3M body sealer (available at any auto parts store that sells body repair supplies), dropped in my floor pan piece and, not having a welter, started drilling holes through the 'new' floor pan and my curren one.

I then shoved through bolts, using the biggest fender washers I could find on both sides, and bolted it down. You might say I sort of stiched it in there.

Then I put the interior back in. It worked great.

I sold the car a few years later and then a few years after that I was at a Police auto auction in Ft. worth with my son. He was looking at the list of cars for sale and noticed towards the end was a Mercedes. He showed me the VIN and said it looked like the VIN of our old car. Sure enough, it was.

Someone had hit a light pole and caved in the front end pretty good. I checked under the carpet in the rear and ther was the floor pan. It still looked good five years later.
