67' 250S Driving in Gear Idle
Hi all, thanks for your help in the past. Took my 250S for a 45 minute drive tonight.. Runs like a champ.......what a cool car. Has quite a bit of power, and idles smooth.. Took it up to 50 mph today, and it ran smooth. Way cool old car.
I thought I had all the bugs worked out, but it seems to idle faster when it gets a little warmer, and it died 1 time after I ran it for almost an hour. Temp is at 175 consistantly. Any thoughts on why it idles faster?? or dies when it's warm? Thanks Dave 1967 - 250S |

dashpot issues maybe?
Funny thing happened tonight........The car runs perfect without the dashpot hooked up. I ordered a new dashpot, and have 2 old ones. None work on it. I guess I'll run the car withou the dashpot and see what happens.....

I don't see what it could hurt.
