Could you advise what Points are used ?
Plan to buy a new set but not sure what ones will be right ones to get:)

The Best points on that chassis are None...convert it to a Pertronix or Crane Ignition..the best bang for the $$ you will ever spend on that car...........

I always tell people to fit a pertronix,it's easier than points and with points they wear out as soon as you start driving ,Simple fact of life in the 60's when most cars started coming out without points.
The crane fireball mentioned above is complicated and primitive so I wouldn't waste time with that stuff. Have a read here of an article written by the true mercedes ignition Guru,the late Randy Durrace,a man who forgot more about mercedes ignitions than many of us will know .
