Not Cloth,Velour. Velour is the top option, not leather as many would believe. It's better to drive on and lasts far longer than leather" which is not all it's cracked up to be..."

Cloth is the bottom of the list ,I have a W126 here with cloth seats. Attractive in a crappy sort of way.

That 6.9 designation appears to be fishy. If it's been sitting the suspension would be down.....and it's not.

I spoke to the seller some time back. This is his personal collection of cars. He seems like a nice enough guy. The car is originally a California car. I believe that it has wooden blocks in place since the transport and he informed me that it had a bad head gasket. I considered buying it for spares when I had the blue Euro but as it's sat with a bad head gasket for so long. I feared that corrosion would have eaten into the block.

I think he mentioned that it did not have a title, which isn't a huge problem for me, as GA does not require a title for a car that old, but it may be for others.

It is worth saving though

OK, so what do you want to buy off me so that I can make the space
Seriously, I would do it but I have come to realize that others also appreciate these cars and I can't go around hording them. I also have to drop a monkey on a fuel pump for my 6.3 pretty soon which is not making me happy,

Hey, you could "Donate" one! It'd be a tax write-off!

If I had the garage space and $ I would already have that 6.9 on its way.

No not yet, I've had a few enquiries about it but I think most people want a running car. I'm sure it will run because I started it with carb cleaner and it fired. But the injectors don't seem to be opening so I suspect it's either the ECU or a grounding issue.

So now i'm in a catch 22. I don't want to spend too much time on it because I want to sell it and If I get it running, i'll either keep it or sell it for more because I have put more time and money into it.

Right now, I threw it on the 4 post and lifted it out of the way. Now that motor on the 4 post lift is starting to act up so there's no telling how I'm going to get it back down .

You can see pictures off it on the lift in the 'weekend wrenching' thread.
