what is it worth 250c sunroof 4 speed?
Hello
wondering what a 1972 sunroof/4 speed 250c is worth..Euro spec car -some minor rot at left front fender and trunk floor-nothing else. Manual windows, power sunroof,4 speed, euro lights..only aftermarket is radio and speakers in rear deck..Green interior-white exterior.maybe a #3 to 4 car with excellent mechanicals,interior,trim,chrome..wood and paint shows okay but definately tired. asking $6500.00 is it worth it? I see them in europe advertised for 10k+,but here in the states what are they worth? Car belongs to my Sister's neighbor in St.Croix-garaged since he moved from Holland with it in 1977 Last edited by TheCarService; 01-11-2009 at 05:20 PM. Reason: spelling |

Good luck. I sincerely mean that.
I have a 1972 250C that I restored less than a year ago. New rockers, new trunk floor, replaced all rusted metal. New carpet, new headliner, new AC system, new tires, new paint. The car is in great shape, so I put it on eBay twice. The highest bids were in the $2,000 to $2,500 range. I bought the car all rusty for $1500. I put about $5000 worth of materials into it and did all the work myself. I personally do not think you will see $6500 for it, but like I said I hope I am wrong. http://www.pokrefke.net/250c/BeforeAfter.htm |

These cars are not worth a lot, but they are a hoot to drive and look pretty cool. I guess they are for the enthusiast and not yet for the collector.
