Solex Problems AGAIN

Well, if you remember i rebuild my Solex 4A1 a few weeks ago, even with the dismal fuel economy on city driving. Last week i went on a 90 miles trip and got a 12 MPG reading which was more acceptable for me as the engine was purring like a kitten at 7O MPH, and i was accelerating the hell out of the engine up to 5000 plus revs on each gear (Yes, my car has a manual 4 speed trans).

Last friday i started the car, it started just fine but idle its too low. so if you don't keep you foot a bit on throttle it dies. I guess i would have to make another tripo to my mechanic, as i don't want to mess with that kind of evil again myself.

Make sure that your idle circuit shutoff solenoids have 12 volts applied to them.
