Heres something you could do to one of those W107's you have...

It's a small world... I went to school there and my father lives 8 miles away. If somebody is seriously (and I mean SERIOUSLY) interested, I could ask him to have a look at it. Getting it on a boat is also not that difficult, but those Hella (?) brights will get dinged.

But something does not add up: that license plate is not a Dutch plate, and he also does not have a license plate on the front (which is required by law). It may be a dealer plate (although they are normally green), but it looks like he did not get it passed for road use, which makes the car pretty worthless over there (except for track racing).

I may be wrong, but I would definitely ask him some serious questions before bidding.

Bert

Depending on the condition of your 5.0 ,that would be a good way to really enjoy a W107,'indulge in a bit of historic rallying'. I don't know how popular it is the US,but as you would know it's big in the UK and Europe and even here where we have the Adelaide rally annually etc .

I thought about that when I had the silver blue car. That car had manual windows and no sunroof and would have made an ideal racer. I need to shed some of these cars. I seem to work on them every weekend and not make any progress overall
