Doors won't shut when cold

Happens every now and then when cold. The doors will not latch and doors will not lock. 1971 220 Diesel. I shut door it just bounces open again.. Any ideas?

Remove the door panel, spay down the mechanisms with WD-40. If it's below freezing when you apply it won't help, so you may need a hairdryer on high or heat gun (on low!) to defrost. WD-40 is a water displacement, it'll drive out the water. Then lube up with some 3-in-1 type oil.

That is what I was gonna do, good to hear it from someone else also
