How much interest is there for a 116 280SE parts car (European)?

I'm scheming to buy a ragged out but non-rusty 79 280SE as a donor car for body panels to do the body work on my somewhat rusty 79 280SE. It's a European model, not running (missing water pump, radiator, few other parts), 230k miles. Interior is reportedly decent, no Euro lights, by the time I'm done with it it will be missing fenders, rear bumpers, and some other body parts. I don't need any major mechanical or interior pieces, and I can't keep it at home, and so I'd like to get rid of it pretty quickly after the work on my car is done. That means, in short, a cheap rolling parts car in Austin, TX. Would anyone be interested in taking the whole car?

Engine is what I may need for my 280. If it is still useable--I have the additional bits.

Will it roll on a dolly? Rear susp up to it? Dolly will be easier for me. (I do live a bit north of you . LOL) I need a road trip & I hear Austin is nice this time of year.

I think that car is long gone. I almost had the 15 inch bundts of it and I do have the checkered cloth interior from it which I may use in my 350SE.

well i went to look at it a couple of days ago and it's pretty complete - missing the air cleaner, transmission cooling lines, radiator hoses, and the thermostat housing. It has 230k miles on it, and looks fairly rusty up in the wheel wells. It's a Euro model, dark brown velour interior, manual windows, manual AC. It doesn't look too bad but the rust is kind of a deal killer for me, I was intending to use body panels from it and the rear bumper (which is dented) for mine and I don't think they're in very good shape. It might even run, I don't know - the air meter plate seems to be frozen closed. There are some loose parts in the trunk, I didn't inventory. I wanted some little parts from it, but in the end I don't have a place to put it especially with the 220D in my driveway. All the tires are inflated and it looks like it would roll around just fine. The guy said he'd take $450 for it, if anyone is interested let me know and I'll send the info.
