Rare parts I should pull off of a finny?

Unfortunately the front bumper and engine/trans are gone already, which is a shame since it was a four on the floor. Are there any rare model specific stuff I should nab before it goes crunch, like the door panels with pockets and so on? If so, what kinda price should my cut-off for those parts be?

Any price points for those parts I should use to determine what stays and what goes?

Strip it bare and sell the parts on ebay or here. Try to get the yard to let the parts go cheap or just buy the car and drag it home. This way you can strip it clean and sell the carcass back to the yard for the weight of the metal.

Finny parts are rare and valuable

The original horns are quite valuable. The steering wheel and pad, if intact are good items. PLease rescue those expensive tail light lenses, especially if it is a W111. The four speed transmission and shifter or at least the top cover of the transmission. Interior window cranks are NLA. Original radios are always in demand. Any very nice chrome is worth saving. Original exterior door handles, ignition switch and owner's books are good items.

Does anyone have any price/condition guidelines for the above mentioned parts?

The 220 is gone, however there is now a 200D and Saturday is half price day. I figure at the very least I'm gonna grab the rear brake stuff (~$50) and IP ($20), but the whole driveline is only about $150-200, so if I can figure out how to drop that in a day I'm considering grabbing it. The chrome on the c-pillar vents is good, and I need a the glove box, but there's still some decent interior stuff besides that IIRC if anyone is interested in purchasing knick-knacks offa it at cost.

If you can, grab the battery hold-down bracket and the right dash vent (unhooks with a spring from underneath) and we'll do a deal.

Thanks,

I need both dash vents myself, so that's a no go, but if I see the battery bracket I'll grab it for ya (~$3 iirc). I'd love to grab the whole car, but they can't come out whole AFAIK (CA law).

I need the diesel ignition knob and the big wire resistor visible in the engine compartment right near the center of the cowl. These are not super valuable parts but I'm using finny parts on my diesel 170 because the 170 parts are a lot harder to find.

PM me and we will do a deal.
Thanks
