280se 4.5 Injector question
Maybe I'm overthinking things here, but is there correct way that the wires plug in to the injector? Being a 2 prong plug (female) it can only go one of two ways, so does it matter? One side of the plug is smooth and the other has 2 notches... Finally got the engine running, sounds like it's on all 8 cylinders, but just had to ask!

To be honest, no, I am 99.9% sure it does not matter... I've rotated them both ways and neither seems to make an impact at all on the way it runs!

agree with Tomguy 100%
it makes no difference at all which way they are plugged in. one wire carries a signal from the ecu the other is a ground wire. as its just opening a solenoid it doesn't matter which way the solenoid coil is energized. cheers barri

Thanks guys. I had a feeling that it didn't matter, but just wanted to run it by someone who knew.
