1979 W123 280E idle adjustment

Hello,

I have an Australian 1979 280E, and I will be setting the timing on it soon and I also want to get the idle speed correct, can anyone tell me where the idle adjustment screw is and whether it is an idle mixture adjustment screw or is it a screw that simply changes the opening of the throttle?

Thank you

I would guess yours is fuel injection, so the idle adjustment screw is a white plastic screw located just behind the distributor on the intake manifold. It is idle adjustment only - not mixture.
