Be sure to power the fan through a relay controlled by the ignition switch and not directly from the battery.

How are you going to "trigger" the switch for temperature control? You don't want to only use the overheat sensor which is in the cylinder head. It will make your engine run "hot" and that's not a good thing on those M115's.

You can probably find a fan sensor switch from a Japanese import model with the same threads.

yes I didn't use the overheat switch which is 85C. like you said the engine run hot, I bought the fan sensor(from suzuki little van) but very low 50C to trigger it, I installed it on the side of the cylinder head where it is connected for heater, in the Philippines, we don't need the heater, only AC.

Can you get a higher temperature switch? 50C might be too low for your engine. You will be putting quite a strain on your alternator and battery.
