Be sure to power the fan through a relay controlled by the ignition switch and not directly from the battery.
How are you going to "trigger" the switch for temperature control? You don't want to only use the overheat sensor which is in the cylinder head. It will make your engine run "hot" and that's not a good thing on those M115's. You can probably find a fan sensor switch from a Japanese import model with the same threads. |

Can you get a higher temperature switch? 50C might be too low for your engine. You will be putting quite a strain on your alternator and battery.
