What are the Dimensions of your typical German lisence plate? the blue and white long version.

HI
You can get a Euro plate made from the last post but may I give you a piece of advice ? If you have a REAL Euro plate, after a while, and maybe that 77th automatic car wash, these plates will LOOSE the white circular portions that make up the figures 8,9,4,6 and 0. Same goes for letters like O or even D. The worst ones are 8 and 0 ! So try to avoid those numbers/letters when you have the plate made UNLESs they are guaranteed for a few years... I asked this question some time ago in a different thread with no response. So maybe now:
Is a Euro front plate with the same numbers/letters & stickers as on the back US state issued plate considered legal in the US?
