Interior Parts Swap
I have already attempted to search for my question with no luck.
Will the interior from a 1979 300SD swap into a 1978 240D? Main concern being seats... then carpets and interior panels.

Im certain the rear seats won't fit in a W123. Im not 100% sure about the fronts seats but I don't think they'll fit either.
The S-class 300SD is a bigger car, the E-class W123 is quite a bit smaller.

W116 seat bottoms have w123 part numbers so i'm pretty sure that you are in good shape. I've also seen people put w123 interior in a w116 but i'm not sure if you can go the other way.

the fronts should work with some doctoring, the rear will not
Carpets and panels will not match up
