1971 280se 4.5 picture

1971 280se 4.5 picture-mb1.jpg brought this home a couple of days ago. unmolested....78,000 miles, all the maintenance records. very well kept. got it for an amazing $500

I did want to say thanks for the help on my other posts (no ignition key....lower front control arm) Tomguy was right about the key, Mercedes called today and the key is in. The advice on "hotwiring" it was also right on the money. The only problem with the ol girl is a broken right front lower control arm. Found the part in Georgia for $60 and it'll ship tomorrow. Also have the shop manual on the way. I work offshore (drilling rig motorman) so time to leave out tomorrow. thanks again! talk to you guys in a few days
