Option information
Hi
As I recall, there was a web site that provided full option information for your VIN#. Anyone who has info on this, have lost the link. Regards Tom

Russian site?
There is a Russian site but it only works to decode vin numbers from cars made after about 1980 IIRC.
Your signature line shows you have a 1972 model, this site won't help you if this is the one you are trying to decode. I'll try to repost with the link..Thought I had it bookmarked but I find that I don't after all |

Russian site info
In searching,it seems some have had success with earlier models by adding WDB to the vin number
Here"s the url http://old.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/?lng=eng |

I believe the MB Classic web site will send you a copy of the car's original build sheet. Do a search on the web. They have sent me the build sheets on my 3 early '70's W114's. You can decode the options from the sheet. This is the build sheet for the original VIN NOT the full "options" list for the model.
