I'm going on the experience of my friend who did that with a lawn mower and blew the bejeezus out of it.

How much he poured in, I don't know. I just got the call: " Hey ,can I borrow your mower?" Mine's kinda blown up?"

For all I know he put xylene in it or PETN but he said lacquer thinner because he had run out of carb cleaner and ether.
