W114 230.4 wiring woes

Hi Everybody,
I have taken my 230.4 to an auto-electrician to fix my fuel gauge.
The car came back with an alternator problem and the gauge still didn't work.
After a visit to another auto-electrician the alternator still doesn't work, the gauge is still broken and the rest of the instrument cluster lights and gauges are all dead.(He soldered a lot of wires onto the cluster.)
I am thinking to rewire the car myself as you can understand my lack of trust in the professionals in my town.
If somebody can help me with a wiring diagram it would be appreciated.
E-mail adres is gigantum@vodamail.co.za

Thank you for al the help.
