560 SL left exhaust manifold without an EGR valve?

Hi all,

I will be using r107 560 SL exhaust pipes manifolds for a project I have to fit a euro 5.0 in my W111 Coupe. The left 560 SL one has a hole for the EGR valve which I don't need. Would anybody know if some 560 SLs came without that EGR valve and with that part of the manifold without a hole? Or would there be any MB model from which I could get that elbow without and EGR valve? I could compare with a 380 SL one, but internal diametre and centering on the head port are not the same, so I believe it has to come from a 5.0 or 5.6 engine.

Thanks

Why not just cap it?

Sure I could cap it, but it won’t be very aesthetic, especially on that manifold where contrarily to some others it’s not a simple threaded hole but there is a whole thing coming front and sideways…

yes, I know it's a bit on the ugle side as far as aesthetics...I just can't think of any late SL manifolds be they euro or otherwise that I didn't see w/ an EGR port. Even on the 126's the ECE equipped/300HP manifolds had EGR..
