Thanks, I'm glad I could rekindle your past memories . They are just right and pleasant aren’t they?

Indeed. In fact I was just looking at the pic's again and thinking how much better looking the 108 is than the current S-Class. And the thing that preceded it for that matter. In fact almost all the cars that replaced it. While each car up till the W140 is unique I think that the W108 is purely aesthetically speaking the most beautiful S-class ever.

Hi.
Would you happen to know if the coating on your 108 is original?
I like the color-seems to have green and gray mixed together although the resolution may not give me an accurate view. If the color is original would you have the code for the paint? Even so, if not, then paint manufacturer, type, etc..
Thanks,
Turner

Just looking at the speedometer shot...I had this "odor/smell" memory come back to me from when I was a little kid...it's the smell of an old Ford that the step-father had with the old cloth seats...windows rolled up, not a single mouse ever in the thing...just that warm, old, lightly dusty (not musty) smell...

Ahhhhhh!

Thanks for the shots...

BTW...the spot in your driveway...is that where you park her during the sunny, "show off" days?

Makes the neighbors jealous, eh?
