seeking rear brake pads for '67 200D

Looking for a source for replacement pads for the rear brakes (drums). Searched the Buy Parts section(s) - could not find anything for rears.

Can anyone help out?

Thx!

Go to a clutch place and see if they will reline them. I did this before. Total cost for the whole thing was 60 bucks. I just specified the thickness so that they are not too thick to fit on.

Typically US brakes can be as thick as 1/4" but I always limit mine to 3/16"" which is another common size.

Just my two cents but it worked for me. And as you can see, lots of my stuff is older than yours, though the 61 may have the same rears.

yeah, brand new brake shoes are extinct, as long as your shoes aren't damaged, relining them is way to go and cheap!. Here in the Philippines, in Cebu City, a place called MASCOT Brake and Clutch Relining Inc.I relined my M115-powered 1966 200's brake shoes to them at reasonable cost, their job was excellent, first they examine the shoes and notify the owner if the shoes is damaged, they'll not reline damaged shoes, then they simply mount the pads to shoes by big aluminum rivets, not steel b/c will damage the drums if used. I will not reline brake pads, I use original ones (ATE or PAGID) and they're the same as W115 front brake pads.

Thanks for the replies..

Spoke with the dealer - I can order OEM replacement pads for ~$275/each, or I can send them out to be relined. Relining runs about $175 (for an entire set). May need to resurface the drums. Again!

Valuable lesson. When I picked up the car from the mechanic (Sports and Vintage Car in NH) I was so excited to drive it I didn't notice that the parking brake was engaged.

Now I have to put my tail between my legs and go back to my mechanic, and do the same brake job he did 100 miles ago!

Hopefully I'll have her back on the road soon..
