shutoff valve test - engine transplanted
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3215663
ok, I finally got my car started. Idled fine. 2 issues I need help with now: first, I cant get the car to shut off - I am using a switchover valve (If I put power to it, it lets air through, off it blocks air) --- NOTE: There are no vacuum lines running into the car yet, and all hoses are connected/tapped off. How can I test the shutoff valve of the car? Dont want to spend 80 bucks for it if I dont need it. secondly, where can I get a oil pressure line? (the one that goes from the oil filter to the guages) thanks! |

got the car to shut down using a switchover valve. thanks for the tips. the shutoff valve was good (was not plugged---missed it) got a spare from the junkyard..will save it for later. got the oil pressure line from a w123 also. I'm pretty set now.
