I disagree, some of my least expensive daily drivers started this way, plus it's fun! He's trying to make something out of nothing, what's the harm? As long as he's not charging himself hourly labor
 It's a strange thing, seems like when cars are inexpensive or free you end up somehow making do scrounging and finding parts for them and a 250 is a good model.

I work on old bikes and have a lot of fun with that, plus I sell messes of them.
I don't just restore them, I make em' ride good too. I have a shop and a gang of dude's lovin' this project.

Well
It looks like it is going to me more trouble than I want to go through. I have it up on craigs list. http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/1361131225.html .The post is wrong, I can't seem to change it I want 950$ for it. I can get that at least in parts and scrap.
I would rather sell it whole than part it out but... I know it is probably more than it is worth but... It has a new exaust, and new tires, and the interior is all there. And the carbs were rebuilt and never used.
