Diesel Vacuum Pump

Is there any preventative maintenance on a diesel vacuum pump?

You can replace the diaphram and inspect the roller ball on the shaft but that's about all I know of.

What Mike D said about every 200,000 miles.

Not a difficult thing to do but really nasty, But then you drive a Diesel, so you likely knew that.

As I recall you can even buy a little kit with all the parts you need to do this.
