1968 280SE Coupe Ebay

Is this the current selling price of a 280SE coupe nowadays? It seems like a good deal, but maybe I am wrong.

that's a reasonable price. Is the underside as good as the rest of it? -CTH

The owner claimed ZERO rust, dings, dents, scratches and very mechanically sound. I'm sorry I didn't raise my bid.

IMO, $8,200.00 is a nice deal... the value of that coupe can only go northward, as long as it isn't neglected.

I recognize that dealer's lot.

He generally sells older, lower priced stuff, and is in a blue collar neighborhood. This car not a typical unit for him.

It's on George Washington Blvd, south of the shipyard, catercorner from the Wachovia bank.

Prolly picked it up at auction and is trying to flip it. I'd be unwilling to trust any claims, without a viz to back them up..... I'd suspect the pics and description make this car nicer than it really is. Of course, I could be wrong, but he didn't have any luck selling it on the Craig's list, so caution is warranted.

Jim
